Spooktacular Pumpkins

One day left until Halloween! This holiday has surprisingly snuck up on me. I'm big on the whole decorating the house, making cookies, and celebrating every holiday weeks before it occurs. I started this Halloween by watching my favorite movies (Hocus Pocus, Halloween Town 1-3, and Twitches) in the beginning of October. My boyfriend and I finally had some free time this past weekend to get our pumpkins. We were a little dismayed by the fact that the pumpkin patch had about 20 pumpkins to choose from, guess we were a little too late!
On a recent trip to American Eagle I discovered the clearance section to be an extra 60% off which was very exciting for me! I supported all of my finds (jeans, sweater, and scarf) to the pumpkin patch.

Sporting my dark wash boot cut jeans, three quarter sleeved purple pull over, white cotton scarf with blue embroidery, and knee high camel colored boots. Unfortunately the cool air snuck up on me so I had to break out the only coat I have out of storage yet for this year.

Thought I'd recreate a picture from my childhood while I had the opportunity! A little Transformation Tuesday!

I love carving pumpkins (not necessarily taking the "guts" out) but sometimes we don't find the time for actually carving, so I'd like to share some ideas with pumpkins that don't involve carving and are fairly simple to decorate.

These Daisy Chain pumpkins are a little more complicated but they're definitely my favorite! Though I am partial to the owls as well! :)

Have a Happy Halloween and try not to eat too much candy! :)

lions and tigers and bears! oh my!

With Halloween right around the corner I thought I'd share a few my recent pins from pinterest! Regardless of whether you are hosting a party or passing out candy to trick-or-treaters this year hopefully these items will aid you in making an unforgettable holiday!

Pumpkin Punch, a great twist on the classic party punch.
Pumpkins without the mess of carving!
An easy, affordable, and unique costume!

Great little treats and so simple!

What are your plans for Halloween? I plan on dressing up to pass out candy but haven't decided yet: ninja, Merida (from Brave), or a girly version of Iron Man. Any opinions or suggestions?

Outlet Mall Finds

Consistency is not my forte as readers more than likely have noticed so I am making a promise to all of you lovely people; I will be posting EVERY Tuesday and Friday! Now what I need to know is what everyone wants to read from me! I love feed back on my posts it gives me a sense of what people are liking and disliking with what I have to say so PLEASE keep it coming!! Okay now on to the good stuff...

As the last nice days of fall visited us over the weekend I took some time out to flaunt some of my recent fabulous finds from a nearby outlet mall!

A black sequin skirt was on my "must have" list for this fall. And can you believe I got this for $10 at Armani Exchange? Talk about a steal! This top I actually bought full price a month or so ago at Forever 21, it comes in some great colors but I decided on Emerald since its the color of the year! I also scored this little Vera Bradley clutch; I couldn't resist the bright pattern on the dark background!

Have a lovely week and pleeeease remember - feed back makes me happy :)
